Phase 1A of Local Authority Delivery (LAD) funding

The Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery scheme was launched in August 2020 following the Chancellor's plans for a Green recovery from COVID-19.

The Local Authority Delivery scheme aims to upgrade around 50,000 homes, saving consumers money on their energy bills, while making it easier to keep their homes warm.

Phase 1A

Grants of over £74 million were allocated to 55 projects which will upgrade the energy efficiency of around 10,000 low-income households in over 100 local authorities.

An initial deadline of March 2021 was extended to June 2021 to allow delivery of schemes.  

YES' LAD partnership with North Lincolnshire Council

Working with North Lincolnshire Council, YES managed a 53 home external wall insulation scheme with funding secured from Phase 1A .

The scheme has gone on to be extended to 150 homes in Phase 1B.
