We also donated £5,000 to local charities and community initiatives, alongside staff-led fundraising and volunteering activities. This approach allows us to create long-term social impact while continuing to support vulnerable households.

As a community interest company, our teams work around the clock to help householders live in warmer homes and reduce their energy bills.
We also take part in fundraisers, volunteering and events that support the wider needs of the community.

Double Win for Team YES!
Yesterday at the Energy Efficiency Awards 2025, regional awards for Yorkshire and Humberside, YES took home top honours in the Vulnerable Customer Support category , a huge recognition of the heart and hard work we put into supporting those who need it most.
But that’s not all — we also earned a Highly Commended for our work on the Calderdale Council HUG2 scheme, showcasing our commitment to delivering real impact in our communities.
We Won Regional Large Scale Project (>250K) of the Year last night at the East Midlands Energy Efficiency Awards! alongside project partners Derbyshire Dales District Council, Renderclad and West Yorkshire Gas Services
We won 1st place for Funding Provider of the Year in recognition of our energy efficiency improvements for vulnerable householders as part of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) fund
We won Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year for our variety of support schemes in Yorkshire.
We were awarded Large Scale Project of the Year, for our work on LAD and HUG funding in partnership with Derby City Council and Renderclad Ltd.
For our above-and-beyond approach to supporting customers with high energy bills, the Federation of Small Businesses awarded us as the local winner of the Community Award.
Sheffield Hallam University awarded YES Energy Solutions the Best Business Growth award, for the innovation and implementation of various schemes and significant upscaling of the business in the last year.
Commercial director Alex Wilkes, Business Development Manager Alex Krzesinski and CEO Duncan McCombie headed to the Collaboration Network Awards in Birmingham.We were a silver winner of The Vulnerability Award, and Duncan was a winner of a Special Recognition award.
