Duncan McCombie | Chief Executive Officer

Duncan has extensive experience in the energy efficiency and retrofit sector and has led the growth of YES Energy Solutions into a national organisation delivering energy advice services, retrofit programmes and home improvements.

His leadership focuses on developing strategic partnerships with local authorities, housing providers and energy sector organisations to deliver programmes that reduce fuel poverty and improve the energy efficiency of homes. Duncan is responsible for setting the organisation’s strategic direction while ensuring programmes continue to deliver measurable social and environmental impact.

Diane Swift | Finance Director

Diane is a qualified finance professional with extensive experience in financial governance, organisational sustainability and strategic financial planning.

She oversees the financial management of YES Energy Solutions, ensuring robust financial oversight and responsible stewardship of funding programmes. Diane works closely with the executive team and board to support the organisation’s long-term sustainability while maintaining strong governance as a Community Interest Company.

Katie Baker | Operations Director

Katie has significant experience in operational leadership within the energy efficiency sector and oversees the delivery of programmes across YES Energy Solutions.

She leads teams responsible for programme delivery, ensuring energy advice services, retrofit projects and funded home improvement programmes are delivered safely, effectively and at scale. Katie plays a key role in maintaining high operational standards while ensuring services continue to support households facing rising energy costs.

David Dykes | Commercial Director

David brings significant experience in commercial development and strategic partnership building within the energy and housing sectors.

He leads the commercial strategy for YES Energy Solutions, developing partnerships with local authorities, housing providers and energy sector organisations to support the delivery of energy advice services and retrofit programmes. David plays a key role in identifying new opportunities that expand the organisation’s reach and increase its impact in improving the efficiency of homes.

Non-Executive Directors

David Titterton | Board Chair

David has held senior leadership roles across the energy sector, including executive director positions within major retail energy businesses.  His experience spans customer service, field operations, sales, marketing and trading, giving him a deep understanding of both operational delivery and commercial performance within regulated markets.

He has led complex organisational transformation programmes, including acquisitions, integration and large-scale restructuring.  His approach combines strategic clarity with disciplined governance and performance oversight. As Board Chair, David provides strong board leadership, ensuring strategic decisions are robust, future-focused and aligned with long-term sustainability.  He supports constructive challenge, effective succession planning and high standards of accountability across the organisation.

Robert Light | Senior Independent Director

Robert brings extensive experience in public sector leadership and large-scale housing retrofit delivery.  He has overseen complex improvement programmes and driven change within politically accountable and publicly funded environments.

His background combines strategic governance, policy awareness and practical delivery insight.  He understands how to balance ambition with accountability while maintaining strong stakeholder confidence. As Senior Independent Director, Robert provides independent oversight and constructive challenge.  He strengthens governance by ensuring transparency, balanced decision-making and effective board scrutiny, particularly in relation to publicly funded programmes and partnership delivery.

Peter Sharman | Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee

Peter is a senior finance professional with expansive knowledge and experience across energy and renewables.  He has held board-level finance roles with responsibility for planning, control, audit and regulatory compliance within large, regulated organisations.

He brings deep expertise in financial governance, risk management, investment oversight and internal control frameworks.  His experience includes managing complex financial structures and ensuring compliance within high-accountability environments. As Chair of the Audit and Risk subcommittee, Peter strengthens financial stewardship across the organisation, providing rigorous oversight of audit, risk and compliance.  He supports robust financial planning, transparent reporting and disciplined risk management to protect long-term stability.

Clare Naunton | Chair of the Remuneration Committee

Clare has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, leading strategic and behavioural change across large organisations.  Her background includes senior roles in customer transformation, organisational development and executive leadership roles.

She brings strong insight into leadership capability, performance culture and aligning organisational values with measurable outcomes.  Her experience spans complex stakeholder environments and people-led transformation. Clare Chairs the Remuneration subcommittee, with oversight of remuneration, performance and leadership development frameworks.  She supports fair, transparent and values-led decision-making while ensuring organisational culture and capability remain aligned with strategic priorities.

Terry Gee | Chair of Community Interest Company Committee

Terry has over 20 years’ experience in community engagement, public service transformation and cross-sector partnership working.  His career has focused on strengthening local systems, building effective networks, improving service delivery and building long-term community resilience.

He specialises in collaborative leadership, strategic resource management and data-informed improvement approaches.  His experience bridges voluntary, community and public sector environments. The CIC subcommittee is chaired by Terry, supporting the organisation’s social purpose and community impact focus.  He provides oversight of community engagement, ensuring delivery remains grounded in local need, partnership working and measurable social value.
