What is Pride in Place?

Pride in Place is the UK Government’s flagship community regeneration programme. It places decision making in the hands of local communities through resident led Neighbourhood Boards, enabling funding to be directed towards local priorities and long term improvement plans.

The programme focuses on three key outcomes:

Communities can invest in projects that improve public spaces, support local businesses, enhance cultural assets, strengthen community organisations and improve quality of life for residents.
